What Is CC0 ?
All the pictures which were proclaimed as Creative Commons Zero (CC0) could be used as below:
- For commercial purposes
- modification is allowed
- No attribution required
For more detail or relative information of CC0, please refer to this page "Public Domain Dedication". Here is the brief definition:
No Copyright. The person who associated a work with this deed has dedicated the work to the public domain by waiving all of his or her rights to the work worldwide under copyright law, including all related and neighboring rights, to the extent allowed by law. You can copy, modify, distribute and perform the work, even for commercial purposes, all without asking permission.
Be cautious, if someone build upon or reuse the works by CC0, it's not right to declare he or she is the owners of the works.
The CC0 authors deserve credits from us, and if we benefit from the internet sharing, wish we could share something back to the internet, then all the world benefit.
